  • Christ the Redeemer Statue. The monument, which is 20 m high, was designed by the Espírito Santo sculptor Antônio Francisco Moreira. It stands on top of Morro do Castelo, from where it is possible to have a wide view of almost the entire urban area of ​​the city. At the time of its inauguration, the Itaperuna monument held the position of being the second largest statue of Christ the Redeemer in the world.
