Jumunjin (주문진), also known as Chumunjin is in Gangwon.

Jumunjin is a seaside town near Gangneung, a popular tourist destination, with Jumunjin Harbor, home to more than 350 fishing boats. It was a set for the 2000 Korean film, Kilimanjaro.

  • 1 Jumunjin Fish Market (주문진수산시장), 312-260 Jumun-ri, +82 33-661-7300. The largest seafood market on Korea's east coast, founded in 1936, home to its fleet of squid boats. It offers wide varieties of seafood, including dried fish.
  • 2 Jumunjin Lighthouse (주문진등대), 187-2 Jumun-ri.
  • 3 Jumunjin Beach (주문진해변) (in the northernmost part of Gangneung). A popular beach destination, with shallow waters, ideal for families.
  • Jumunjin Radiator (주문진방사제), 강릉시 주문진읍 해안로 1609 (in the northernmost part of Gangneung). A popular beach destination, with shallow waters, ideal for families.
