Kabezi is in the western part of Burundi. It is one of the communes of the province of Bujumbura and is on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.

Kabezi as a district on the edge of Lake Tanganyika, visitors can enjoy the fresh air of the lake on the beaches on the shores of the lake. In Gakungwe, one of the parts of kabezi, is the Livingstone - Stanley stone, a monument near the Mugere river symbolizing the meeting the explorer and missionary Dr David Livingstone and the journalist and explorer Henry Morton Stanley in November 1871 in Burundi, where they spent two nights on 25–27 November 1871.

Kabezi is 18 km from Bujumbura, the political capital of Burundi. From Bujumbura, Kabezi can be reached by public transport by bus, the cost being approximately 1500 BIF equivalent to at least 0.6USD.

In Kabezi, you can eat, among other things, fish caught in Lake Tanganyika, such as Ndagala, Mukeke, Sangala, Kungula. You can also eat the paste called Buswage or Bubamo prepared from cassava. Among the fruits that can be found in Kabezi, I can list orange, banana, tangerine, etc.

Local banana beer called Urwarwa in addition to Primus, Amstel, Royal etc. More so a good tasting soft water.
