• 1 Kapu Beach (Kaup Beach), off NH66, driving south from Udupi. Lighthouse: Varying opening times, ( closes at 6:30PM). Nice, relatively unknown beach. There is a lighthouse from which one can get a nice view. It is 22 km from Manipal, MIT. ₹10 for the lighthouse. Beach is free. (updated Aug 2018)
