Kitikmeot Region (Inuktitut: ᕿᑎᕐᒥᐅᑦ, Qitirmiut) is in Nunavut, Canada.

[edit]During summer season, tourist cruise ships often stop at Cambridge Bay, and to lesser extent Kugluktuk. Otherwise, you have to fly in to any of the Kitikmeot communities.
Get around
[edit]There are no roads connecting between the communities. You will need to take snowmobile or ATV to go to attractions outside of the hamlet.

[edit]Gjoa Haven and Kugaaruk are dry communities. Kugluktuk places purchase limits on alcohol. There is no alcohol restriction in Cambridge Bay and Taloyoak.
