  • 1 Krishnagiri Dam (KRP Dam). A dam that spans the Thenpennai River. The park near the dam is a famous tourist spot. The dam is flooded with tourists during the weekends. The Syed Basha Mountain is famous for two Sufi martyr saints who were slain in a battle long ago, every year on the Tenth of Shawwal (Islamic month) a celebration is held.
