Kyaikkami is a city in Southeastern Myanmar.

[edit]It was a British city under British rule, and it was famous as a black market entrepôt before the military government regime. Now it attracts Myanmar pilgrims who love to visit Kyaikkami Yele Pagoda or Kyaik-kami Ye Le Paya.
Get in
[edit]You can visit there by bus or by boat. Bus fare from Yangon is 6,500 kyat. There are three bus companies. The nearest big city is Tanphyuzayat which had a notorious Japanese concentration camp, now maintained as a war cemetery.
