Lendang Nangka (also known as Pringgayudha) is historical village in East Lombok of West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. This village is rich in terms of culture, nature resources, and art and dance.


The village is located in the district of Masbagik in East Lombok regency, about 40 km east of the provincial capital Mataram.

By taxi[edit]

Taxi fares are quite reasonable if they use the meter. Some drivers may try and enforce a Rp 20,000 minimum. Taxi is equipped with meters which should be used by their drivers at all times. Horse carts known as cidomo remain a common means of transport in Lendang Nangka and they are often found operating throughout the congested streets near a pasar or mosques of Lendang Nangka. By car

By rental car[edit]

Renting a car is a possible alternative in Lendang Nangka. It will cost around Rp 300,000-Rp 500,000 for a Toyota Avanza/Daihatsu Xenia (2x4) 6-8 seats, Rp 300,000- Rp 450,000 for a Toyota Kijang (2x4) with 7-8 seats. By motorbike[edit]

Motorbikes are also available for rent around Lendang Nangka. Expect to pay approximately Rp 50,000 per day for a motor bike in as new condition.


Lendang Nangka has many natural tourism objects to see and enjoy, i.e. spring, eco tourism, water fall, terraced ricefield, garden, monkey forest, kettle market, traditional market, silver smith, black smith. Below is the brief description of what to see around the village. Tojang Spring Tojang Spring is at sub-village of Glogor. It is approx. 3 kilometer to the north of Lendang Nangka.

This village guesthouse offers visitors an opportunity for a cultural and social immersion experience in a contemporary local Sasak kampung.The facilities are modest but sufficient and the hospitality is genuine and un-pretentious including home cooked meals and the opportunity to meet and interact with a local community in the Lendang Nangka area. Trips to local rice fields, coffee, cocao, banana, coconut, and clove plantations can be arranged as well as the more predictable touristic sites. The hosts are heavily involved in local community based agricultural training and development programs and also offer opportunities for direct involvement in volunteer and community development programs if visitors are interested. People can just use the guesthhouse if they require but the house' stand out feature is the opportunity to see more of the local community than most visitors normally do. If required a car or motorbike can be arranged for transport to the location. Singles and small groups are welcome. For more adventurous guests trips and overnight stays can be provided to a nearby tradition mountain village, access is by motor bike and conditions are more basic, but still very welcoming. 1 person/Rp 150,000, 2 people Rp 300,000 per night including a pick up at Masbagik district. 3 meals per day per person is Rp 100,000 extra. If you are in airport, mataram, gili or somewhere else in Lombok which takes one and half hour, extra cost would be added, Rp.150.000 until Rp.200.000.
