Lida is a medium-sized city in Grodno Oblast, Belarus.

Lida is an active transport hub, reachable from Minsk and from Grodno both by train and by bus. Note that buses are generally faster than trains in Belarus.

Lida Castle
  • 1 Church of the Exaltation of the Cross. A Baroque church built in the second half of 18th century.
  • 2 Lida Castle. Erected in the 1330s at the order of Gedyminas, the grand duke of Lithuania, this castle is relatively well-preserved and is the city's most popular tourist attraction.
  • 3 Lida historical and art museum. The exhibits include local archaeological findings, a vast numismatic collection, a collection dedicated to history of everyday life, etc.
