Do

[edit]
  • If you follow the main road, along the river, you will soon find quite a picturesque scene of giant boulders, a small waterfall, and more. Local children and others go up there to swim in the summertime, and it's quite shaded and cool.

There are two places good to swim: Gogorikidze in Likhauri and Devis Kva in Achi

Buy

[edit]

There is one small shop, which strangely enough has a fair amount of chocolate, and a pharmacy if you happen to need headache tablets after too many ringtones blasted in your ear. Visit Janverdi Tsetskhladze Farm in village 1 Gogieti where you can buy homemade honey and enjoy remote village life.

Eat

[edit]

Both restaurants in Likhauri area are known for trout from the local mountain rivers.

  • 1 Niabauri (ნიაბაური). If you follow the main road for a while, you will soon see a yellow sign with Georgian letters and a beer advertisement. Follow this road to a nice restaurant, where at least one of the people speaks decent English, and enjoy some meat skewers, or salads if you're a vegetarian.
Village Achi

Drink

The restaurant serves beer, or if you're lucky, the villagers will treat you to some homebrew.
