Marado Island (마라도, 馬羅島) is 11 kilometers off the south coast of Jeju island. It has around 90 residents and is the most southern point in South Korea.
Get in
[edit]Ferries leave from Unjin marina on Jeju. This is 30 minutes by bus from Moseulpo in the south-west of Jeju island. There are 5 return services per day, taking 25 minutes each way. The last departure from Marado is at 15:50. Check this page for current times and prices. You will need a Korean ID or a passport to take the ferry.
The island is situated in a marine park, the fee for which is included in your ferry ticket.
