Närke, archaic spelling Nerike, is a province in the Svealand region in Sweden, bordering to Värmland, Västmanland, Södermanland, Östergötland and Västergötland.

There are direct trains from Stockholm to Örebro and more stations. Train travel from Malmö require a train change. Search and buy tickets from SJ.

Go and see the castle in central Örebro. It's really beautiful. It was built in the middle ages.
