The JR Kishin Line traveling from the east, and the JR Geibi Line from the west, stop in Niimi, and the JR Hakubi Line connects to Niimi from the north and south.

Bihoku Bus and Hankyu Bus operate highway buses from Osaka that stop in Niimi on their way to and from Miyoshi. It's the cheapest way to reach Kansai from Niimi.
