Trains run daily every two hours from Exeter St David's, with peak hour services starting from Exeter Central, taking 45 min via Crediton. This "Dartmoor Line" re-opened for passenger trains in 2021.

The 1 station is half a mile south of the village. It's an unstaffed platform with a ticket machine but no toilets.

Beautiful decor, service and cuisine. B&B double from £270.

Connect

[edit]

Okehampton and its approach roads have 4G from all UK carriers, but you soon lose the signal on the moors. As of April 2022, 5G has not reached this area.
