Okeho is in southwest Nigeria in Oyo state. It's a Yoruba speaking community with neighboring environment like Alubo, Bode, Igboje, Ijo, Imoba, Isia, Isemi, Oke-Ogun, Ogan, Olele and Pamo. The population of Okeho in 2016 was 12,964 but will have increased now. Okeho is fondly called the "Food basket of Oyo state" because agriculture is practised there more. The indigenes are predominantly farmers and traders.

Okeho is in Kajola. The people from Okeho are Yoruba ethnics and the language spoken is Yoruba language. Their traditional rulers are called the "Onjo" just like "Oba" in most Yoruba traditions. Okeho has had 18 Onjos to date.
