Payathonzu is a town in Southeastern Myanmar, in the Kayin State on the border with Thailand. It is on the Burma Railway.

  • 1 Suwannagiri Monastery. Buddhist temple built by the Mon Buddhist monk Luangpho Uttama. Most famous for its hundred wooden pillars and interior walls decorated with beautiful Burmese art.
