Perris
Perris is in Riverside County. It is known for Lake Perris, an artificial lake, skydiving, Southern California Railway Museum, and its sunny dry climate.

[edit]Perris came into existence with the emergence of the California Southern Railroad, where a depot was established between Barstow and San Diego. It was founded in 1911.

[edit]Perris is 71 miles (114 km) east-southeast of Los Angeles and 81 miles (130 km) north of San Diego.
For drivers, Perris is readily connected to the rest of metro LA area by I-215. But there is also the 91/Perris Valley Line of the Metrolink for those utilizing public transportation.
Get around
[edit]Riverside Transit Agency offers some routes through the municipality and into adjacent areas. More practically though, a car is probably advisable.
