Appearance
Perry is the seat of Noble County in Red Carpet Country.
Understand
[edit]This Land Run town of 1893 had some 40,000 squatters encamp on the day of the event, and an early Wild West flair with free flowing alcohol and train robberies by the Dalton and Doolin gangs in the days to follow. It is also the home of Charles Machine Works, Inc, along US Route 64, which invented the Ditch Witch line of excavation products.
Get in
[edit]Perry is to some degree a service center town as it sits right on I-35, so you're bound to intersect it if you're traveling that route.
Get around
[edit]It's very compact, but hopefully you have a car because it's pretty far from anywhere.
