Prague-East district is a part of Central Bohemia, immediately east of Prague.
Understand
[edit]The area consists of small villages, towns and suburbs which are mostly quite naturally connected to the main Prague city. While most of the towns provide the basic services and have history of their own, few of them have any mentionable sights.
On the other hand, various places in the area provide for good relaxation, such as cycling tracks or small local breweries.
Get in
[edit]Public transport is available both by bus networks mainly from 1 Černý most, 2 Háje or 3 Letňany.
Also trains from 4 Hlavní nádraží (Prague main train station) cover big part of the area.

[edit]- 1 Klánovice forest (Klánovický les). A mainly oak forest with conditions for recreation. Visitors can move along marked hiking trails and two cycling circles. Most of the history of this locality can be learned from the nature trail starting at the Klánovice railway station. Several stops are dedicated to the defunct settlements of Hol (also called Žák), Lhota and Slavětice, the boards also tell the story of the origin of Klánovice and the route leads around the dilapidated clubhouse of the former golf course.
