Puttaparthi is the place in Andhra Pradesh, India where the guru Sathya Sai Baba lived until his death in 2011. He is considered as "God Incarnate" by many of his followers. It is a beautiful valley between the hills. It is a perfect description of a global village, where you get to see the Indian countryside along with the modern facilities.

Puttaparthi is easily accessible today by train, road and airport. It has a tiny but beautiful railway station. The airport no longer serves scheduled commercial flights. Bangalore is 3 hours away by road.

Sai Kulwant Hall (Darshan Hall), Chaitanya Jyoti, Old Museum, Meditation Tree, Chitravati River, Vidyagiri, International Center of Sports, Gokulam, Planetorium, Bhagawan's Birth Place, Hills near Chitravati River.

The Sathya Sai Ashram is a beautiful place filled with temples and beautiful places of worship. There are a lot of places to see like the Super Speciality hospital, schools and colleges, International Stadium, and the museum.

Shopping Centre, Meditation, Supravatam in early morning with Nagar Sankirtan which gives a fresh spiritual atmosphere with purity in heart.

All kinds of food (only veg) of different countries from every corner of this Planet. Mainly South Canteen, North Canteen & Western Canteen (foreign Canteen).

All type of cool drinks with different fruits juice.

Sleep[edit]

Mainly you can get accommodation within the Aashram with a spiritual environment. There are also many luxurious as well as budget hotels.

Bangalore, Tirupati, Kolar, Chennai are cities that are quite close if not very close.
