Sângeorz-Băi is a spa town in Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania.


A small resort located near the Rodna mountains, Sângeorz-Băi is best known for its mineral springs used for the treatment of various ailments.

Get in[edit]

By train[edit]

Sângeorz-Băi is on a secondary railway and gets limited service, just a few trains that link it with the nearby station Ilva Mică (on the Cluj-Suceava mainline) operated by the small rail company Regional [formerly dead link]. Travel time is about 20 minutes.
