Sangha and Likouala is the northernmost, innermost region of the Republic of the Congo, named for the two most important rivers cutting through it (although the most important river in the area is the Ubangi, which runs along the eastern border of the country).

  • 1 Impfondo Impfondo on Wikipedia — a provincial capital on the Ubangi, on the way to Bangui.
  • 2 Ouésso Ouésso on Wikipedia — a small town, but an important one, as it is the principal transit hub between Cameroon and Congo, and just down the Sangha river from the Central African Republic's Dzanga Sangha National Reserve. It's also a popular base for visiting nearby Pygmy settlements.

This region travel guide to Sangha and Likouala is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
