Santo Ângelo is a town in the Northwest of Rio Grande do Sul, in the South of Brazil.

There are bus lines which link Santo Ângelo with cities such as Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Curitiba, and São Paulo, as well as other cities of Rio Grande do Sul.

The city is reached via RS-344, which in turn links to BR-392 (toward the Brazil-Argentina border), and to BR-285 (toward the Southeast, Central East, and Grande Porto Alegre regions of the state).
