Seeley Lake is a small town in Northwestern Montana. It is a part of the Missoula metropolitan area. About 1,600 people live there.

[edit]Of course the lake sits right next to the town. It's about 1,000 acres and is a popular fishing spot. It is a part of the 'Chain of Lakes' running north and south. All are easy to access from Highway 83.
Being situated in a valley, by the lakes and rivers, forested mountain area, and near the Bob Marshall and the Mission Mountain Wilderness areas, Seeley Lake is hugely popular for outdoor recreation.

[edit]Seeley Lake is on State Highway 83, about 1 hour northeast of Missoula via State Highway 200.
The nearest airport is in Missoula.

[edit]You can enjoy fly fishing, golf, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.
- 1 Blackhawk Dis Golf Course, 456 Airport Rd (at Seeley Swan High School). 18 hole course with the 'Benevolent Nine' to begin with and the 'Malevolent Nine' at the end. Maintained by the high school student council. First hole is behind the school at the NE corner of the gym. Or park at the top of the hill and start at hole 12. Free.
- Canoe the Clearwater River Canoe Trail, an easy 3.5-mile canoe route.
