The village of Siemiechów, population 1,873 (Year: 2003) people, is in Lesser Poland Voivodeship in the Carpathian foothills near Tarnów, Zakliczyn, and Tuchów in south-eastern Poland.

Get in[edit]

Daily trains from Kraków and Tarnów connect to the train station (PKP) in the gmina (commune) Gromnik, only 6 km East. Daily buses (PKS) connect Kraków to nearby Zakliczyn, only 6 km west, and between Tarnów and Gromnik with the village's 3 bus stops.

By foot, car, bicycle, motorcycle, or call for Taxi service located in Zakliczyn.

Beautiful area to go camping, hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, motorcycling, ATVing, horse riding, mushroom and berry picking, and skiing. Every year is the annual parish and harvest festivals, which comprise of music, dancing, folk culture, and delicious food and drink.

There are two local variety stores in the village, and a larger supermarket and many other stores in Zakliczyn.
