Suwarrow National Park (sometimes Suwarrow Atoll National Park) is in a national park in the northern Cook Islands. The atoll is linked to the name of the New Zealand writer, Tom Neale who retired there in complete solitude for 5 years dedicating them to the writing of the book "An Island to Oneself", later destined to become a bestseller. Today, numerous private yachts anchor in the Suwarrow Lagoon.
