Is this an article?[edit]

I'm not sure Angel Falls meets the criteria set up in Project:What is an article?, since it is a single destination within a national park. Ronald, can this article be turned into a redirect to Canaima National Park, and the info on Angel Falls moved to the "See" section of that article? To create a redirect, the Angel Falls article can be blanked and replaced with the syntax "#REDIRECT [[Canaima National Park]]" -- (WT-en) Wrh2 18:51, 23 Jun 2005 (EDT)

This isn't Angel falls. It is Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park.

That is not correct. Notice for example that Yosemite is gray granite, not this beige stuff. And Yosemite granite is worn smooth by glaciers, unlike the folds of the picture. Also, trees when looking up at the falls are mostly pine with a few oaks -- I have no idea what the picture has, but it isn't either. See Image:Yosemitefalls.jpg for comparison. -- (WT-en) Colin 23:06, 29 September 2006 (EDT)

Merge and Redirect to Canaima National Park seems like the right thing to do. --(WT-en) NJR_ZA 14:06, 25 June 2007 (EDT)

I agree, merge and redirect sounds good. The area is already overlapping with La Gran Sabana, a whole region in southern Venezuela, of which Canaima is just one national park. (WT-en) Ixer 07:33, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

I agree, but suggest Gran Sabana is also merged into the Canaima article with a redirect if possible, as the national park covers both the falls and the entire region of Gran Sabana (not the other way round Ixer) (WT-en) TimFearn74 15:56, 8 October 2007 (GMT)

I agree. Makes sense. (WT-en) Aidan 00:50, 6 April 2009 (EDT)

Agreed with the TimFearn plan. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 05:38, 3 November 2009 (EST)
