I'm formulating the following as a "stay safe" subsection. Does it look OK? Bendigo is generally a safe city, although like anywhere it is important to take common sense safety precautions. If you plan to take in some of the Bendigo night life be careful about protecting yourself from drink spiking and don't walk between venues alone late at night. Thefts from cars do sometimes occur so if possible do not leave valuables, including GPS systems, in your car. (WT-en) Joanna h 10:52, 3 January 2010 (EST)
