Bison[edit]

There have been several edits claiming that this park has "the only free-roaming bison herd in a state park in the US". Custer State Park in South Dakota has a herd of 1500 bison that roams freely through the park. If there is a distinction that I'm missing please clarify, but otherwise I think the original edit was incorrect. -- (WT-en) Ryan (talk) 18:15, 24 March 2007 (EDT)

I apologize for the inaccuracy. Blue Mounds SP made this claim for many years, and I took it at face value. Now, however, I'm unable to find that statement at the official park website. Thanks for keeping this article honest. It's a work in progress, and I really appreciate your input. (WT-en) Spottacus 00:23, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
