Colico (LC), (Colic in comasco-lecchese) placed into the two Montecchios, at the border of the provinces of Lecco, Como and Sondrio, with 7.485 inhabitants, it's the fifth town of Como Lake by inhabitants number.
It's well-known per la famosa by the famous Piona Abbey, sublime architectural complex of the first Romanesque. It's also quoted by the illustrious writer Alessandro Manzoni, writing of Colico, like the first place that the plague hit. Further it's made renowned by others its monuments like the Fort Montecchio or the Fort Fuentes.
Lastly, recently, produced the fomous musical event Musica sull'Acqua (Music on the Water).
