Wreckless Reef – historical note[edit]

The section of reef to the north of Bellows Rock was named Wreckless Reef by divers (possibly Adriaan Johnson) off the Blue Flash charter boat Ruby Runner as a wry recognition of them missing the wreck of the Lusitania. This happened before the local dive boats Wreckless and Wreckless 2 started operating in this area. Other reef topography at other sites was named for the boats, usually as they were first dived or surveyed from one of them. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 09:17, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
