There were some lopsided opinions on a variety of things. For example, the comment "most people leave their keys in their cars." As I've traveled around Eleuthera extensively, most cars I encounter don't have the keys in the ignition.
There were some slants on airlines, one favored over the others so I tried to add some balance there.
Harbour Island gets talked up, but I'm not sure that's really fair. To me, Harbour Island deservers it's own page. Eleuthera and Harbour Island are both great places to visit; each has it's own unique personality. You will hear various people who have been to both favor the islands differently.
While it's true there is very little shopping, there's more shopping than just Island Made Gift Shop. You can find gift shops of some sort or another in most of the larger towns. (WT-en) Bluewater 04:14, 21 October 2007 (EDT)
