I changed this guide's status from outline to usable. Does anyone have any objections to this promotions? In my opinion its more than just an outline now. (WT-en) EmbrunOntario 14:41, 26 July 2006 (EDT)

It looks like the "Drink" section was removed, so that should be restored (it goes after "Eat"), and it might be better to include the "Talk" information under "Understand" instead of under its own heading, but otherwise it looks good and is definitely usable. I'd leave it there for a while until you're sure of that. Bars, movie theatres, drama companies, pool halls, bowling, etc. all fit into this category. Are you sure there's nothing? -- (WT-en) Colin 15:19, 26 July 2006 (EDT)

Even for places where there is no nightlife it's useful to leave the section with a note that says something to the effect of "There are no bars, nightclubs or taverns in Embrun." Otherwise people may simply wonder if the section was accidentally left out. A similar example is the "Sleep" section, which is included in all city articles on Wikivoyage (including towns with no lodging options) since it's useful to know that a town has nowhere for visitors to stay. -- (WT-en) Ryan 15:36, 26 July 2006 (EDT)

Wow

This article is going great! I'm really amazed. Two things I'd suggest: first, if you can get a Windows Metafile, Adobe Illustrator file, or some other drawing program, upload that file as well as the PNG. It'll make it a lot easier for other people to work on the map.

Second, it may be worthwhile to do fr:Embrun (Ontario), a French version on French Wikivoyage.

I can't say I speak French good enough to a make an edition of this article on the French Wikivoyage, but I can definitely say that quite a few visitors to Embrun are going to be French-speaking, so I understand a need for this article in French. Is there a way to request a translation? And about the map, I'm currently working on a standard Wikivoyage map based on the instructions at Mapmaking expedition using Inkscape, and I've made quite a bit of progress. --(WT-en) EmbrunOntario 17:43, 19 August 2006 (EDT)
