Stupidity[edit]

The author asserts that "The only mainland European country that does not participate in Inter Rail is Albania. Bosnia-Hercegovina joined the Interrail commmunity on 1st April 2005."

Apparently Lichenstein and San Marino don't count as countries anymore.

Everyone makes mistakes - if you see one, please correct it. The good thing about a Wiki is that thousands of eyes will see more than just one. -- (WT-en) Wrh2 15:54, 3 Aug 2005 (EDT)
San Marino (and the Vatican and Andorra and Monaco, for that matter) doesn't have any railway networks, so it's kind of a moot point. Liechtenstein, I believe, is covered by Inter Rail because its (few) services are handled by Swiss operator SBB, which is an Inter Rail member. But I've added the obvious to satisfy nit-pickers. external links[edit]

hello everybody, thats my first participation to WikiTravel. I just would like to add an external link the link to the official Inter Rail community, as a primary source of information. But i see there was already a link to this website, and it was already deleted, then i dont know really what to do...

The local policy on external links is very strict — please see Project:External links. (WT-en) Jpatokal 08:09, 9 Feb 2006 (EST)
There are a lot of things you can do to help WikiTravel and we hope you stick around and help. There is all kinds of edits that are needed and you can also help to add information to places where you have been. Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. Don't get discouraged about your link getting deleted. There have been problems with too many unwanted external links being added and the "External links" section of the templates is now being deleted. We are also deleting it from active pages and you are welcome to help. Thanks for your help and we hope you stay around. -- (WT-en) Xltel 08:41, 9 Feb 2006 (EST)

Zones no more[edit]

There are no more zones in Inter Rail. Now you can only buy a ticket for 1 country or for the whole Europe. --89.216.37.81 07:28, 1 October 2007 (EDT)
