[edit]I sent the following email to the address listed on the theothersideofcalifornia.com website:
Hello, Someone using the login of "Jon Klusmire" copied a significant amount of content from your site to wikivoyage.org earlier this month. While it would be great to use this information on Wikivoyage, theothersideofcalifornia.com does not indicate that text can be freely copied. Wikivoyage requires that all the content used on the site is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, which means that content on Wikivoyage: * Can be distributed by others, as long as you are credited as the author * May be further edited by other contributors If you could reply indicating that it is OK to use your content under the terms of the CC-SA license, or (even better), if "Jon Klusmire" works for you, if you could get him to login to Wikivoyage and place a note on the http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Talk:Inyo_County page indicating that content from theothersideofcalifornia.com can be re-used under the CC-SA license it would be appreciated. - Since much of the text in this article, and several others for Inyo County towns, appeared to have been taken from other sites I've deleted significant chunks. If at a later time the authors of that text indicate that it can be used on Wikivoyage under the terms of the CC-SA license then it can be restored, but please ensure that such permission is explicitly given and mentioned on this talk page before doing so. -- (WT-en) wrh2 20:17, 30 September 2011 (EDT)
