Restaurants[edit]

This misplaced list of restaurants in Lahore awaits a rescuer. (WT-en) Jpatokal 06:31, 25 March 2009 (EDT)

Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park[edit]

The following content is from Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, which is not a proper article. Please merge this content into the Lahore page:

  • Buy: There is nothing inside the park to buy, though Moon Market, one of the premier places of Lahore is less than 100 metres away and one can find things ranging from jewellery market, banks, clothes market (mostly for women and children) to restaurants. For men's (of all the ages) casual and formal wear, there is Kareem Block Market around 2 kms away, which is arguably hub of the men's wear.
  • Eat: There are around five, six cafeterias having very limited items like "Gol Gappay", some snacks, pop corn and cone ice-cream. They charge much higher as compared to original prices and it is a bad idea to buy anything from them. A good practice is to buy things from Moon Market (less than 100 metres away from the park) and take them alongside you.
  • Drink: Like the eatables discussed earlier, only drinks available are cold-drinks and juices - at times non-chilled in hot summer and charged higher than usual price. There are 4 water electric coolers erected: Two on both gates and one near football/gymnasium ground (opposite to slides and "jhooleys" place) and one opposite to the deer park (towards lake side). Availability of chilled water is subjected to timings - at evening or sundays, there are lot of visitors and these facilities fail to serve the requirements.

I've changed the banner back to the previous version simply because the crop on the current image seems a little awkward and we could do with making the banner image different from the leading image. If you disagree please feel free to revert or suggest alternatives below! --Nick talk 23:29, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
