The Levant should have its own separate page within the Middle East page, since it is so small yet diverse. This makes it clear that the Levant is a compact, dynamic area that diserves special attention. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 99.177.241.204 (talkcontribs)

Relisting in alphabetical order

[edit]

Many of the listings in the article, whether city or country, are not in alphabetical order. If there is a reason that they should not be e.g. in descending order based on frequency criteria, that is appropriate. If not, it is appropriate to list in alphabetical order. Doing so ensures:

  1. consistency between sections in the article;
  2. no implied inferiority or superiority is unintentionally conveyed

I will alphabetize as needed.

Also, since this article was tagged as a WikiVoyage project item, in need of an image from Commons, I will try to locate at least one suitable image. The floor tiles of Madaba are lovely, as well as cedars of Lebanon and views of the Mediterranean Sea. I will look for beautiful images for our beautiful Levant.
