This is my first attempt at a new page. I will try to flesh it out in the future, but I would appreciate feedback and additions from others who are better at this than I am. Especially if you have personal knowledge of the areas I have left blank. Jimmu (talk) 08:09, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Train Station[edit]

Every time I go into Lubin (every week or two) I look for the passenger train station. I know they have operating tracks because I get stuck waiting for freight trains rumbling through the center of town about one trip in five. I couldn't believe that a town that size with usable rails has no passenger trains or trolleys. (I guess I'm acclimatizing to Poland) But the PKP website won't get you any closer than Rudna. If anybody hears any news about the new service please give me a holler.

Ah, passenger trains to Lubin were canceled in 2010, and the station demolished in 2012. In Poland it's not that rare, unfortunately. Jjtk (talk) 22:03, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It seems they're following the American model. Scrap the trains, reduce the buses, eliminate the infrastructure of public transportation, then complain that there are so many cars on the road. 83.238.217.19 22:34, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

needs major updates[edit]

Compared to https://wikitravel.org/en/Lublin#Get_in this seems to be all dated info. -- Zblace (talk) 10:42, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
