Stress[edit]

I'm not an expert on Macedonian, but as far as I know, the third to last syllable is usually stressed in Macedonian words (that's what the page says too). I know there are exceptions, but still, in almost all English transcriptions, another syllable is stressed:

  • Ја изгубив мојот паричник. (yah eez-goo-BEEV MOH-yoht pah-REECH-neek)
  • Многу добро,благодарам! (MNOH-goo DOH-broh blah-goh-DAH-rahm)
    • But a few lines later: Благодарам. (blah-GOH-dah-rahm)
  • Може ли да користам вашиот телефон? (MOH-zheh lee dah koh-REES-tahm VAH-shyoht teh-LEH-fohn?)
  • Ли, които включват застраховка/пробег? (lee, kohn-TOH vlyohch-VAHT zahs-trah-KHOHF-kah/proh-BEHK?)

Has this page been adapted from another language phrasebook (Bulgarian maybe)? Maybe some of these are correct, I don't know, but could someone with knowledge of Macedonian check this? Mutichou (talk) 09:09, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
