I have visited mantralayam from Chennai by train mumbai mail(starts at 22:50) reached mantralayam road at 10:45 AM.we catched Bus fare is Rs 8 or we can choose share auto cost is Rs 10.half an hour drive reached mantralayam. For accomodation we booked room at 12:00 belongs to mutt which is cheap Rs 100.People can prefer mutt guest hous than private guest house interms of money.

We took bath and had darshan of swami Raghavendra at 1:30 PM .pilgrims are requested to wear dhoties to see swamiji very near & to remove the shirts.There is a special queue for those who wearing pants but they has to remove the shirts & banniyans.At 2 darshan is closed.Had meal and took rest in room upto 4:00 PM.

Then we visited panchamugi anchineya temple through share auto Rs 30 & came to mantralayam at 6:30 PM. Had mangala aarthi approx at 9:00 PM.

We have seen swamiji used paathapadigai which was kept in a house(it was kept & workshipped by familly).This is rare to see since we got all the info through a guide name Mr.Murali.He is very genuine guided & helped us to see in and around mantralayam.

We had thulasi archana on next day.Performed annadhanam with the help of murali (guide).Very happilly we returned back.
