For consistency this should probably be renamed to Nagoya (city). Opinions? (WT-en) Jpatokal 07:06, 10 May 2005 (EDT)

Don't you mean Nagano(city)? But yes, I agree. It's confusing at the moment.

Actually, for consistency, every Japanese city/prefecture pair has the city at "X" and the prefecture as "X (prefecture)". So the Nagano City article is fine where it is. (WT-en) Jpatokal 08:49, 26 Jan 2006 (EST)

Jigokudani[edit]

I'd like to add something for Jigokudani Onsen, the famous / notorious monkey hot springs. With a dedicated ryokan nearby and a couple others within reach, complicated directions and fairly unique nature, I think it warrants a page of its own, although just barely. (I'm basing this on the fact that Dogo Onsen has a page to itself.) Jigokudani would certainly stick out on the Nagano page, which would be the only other place to put it. Thoughts? Let's start off by putting it here. Dogo Onsen is a bit of a borderline case, so it's not necessarily the best example to emulate. (WT-en) Jpatokal 11:53, 20 October 2006 (EDT)
