Joan of Arc
[edit]I'm fairly certain that Joan of Arc is still celebrated (see Wikipedia:Siege of Orléans), and there is a mention of Joan of Arc House (La Maison de Jeanne d'Arc). Perhaps this could be expanded on? Come to think about it, any number of places have Joan of Arc connections, does Wikivoyage have theme categories? The Joan of Arc category could also mention Domrémy-la-Pucelle (birth), Reims (had a place of honor at the Dauphin's crowning), and Rouen (trial & execution). See also, of course, Wikipedia:Joan of Arc. (WT-en) AnnaKucsma 12:40, 31 October 2006 (EST)
- The above comment seems to have disappeared from everything except my User Contributions page. Any reason? (WT-en) AnnaKucsma 11:47, 1 November 2006 (EST)
- I'm not sure what you mean by "disappeared"... but you should take a look at Project:Other ways of seeing travel. We don't have "theme categories" as such, but you could put together an interesting itinerary. Let me know if you have any questions! (WT-en) Maj 16:10, 1 November 2006 (EST)
