Listen (radio stations), Learn (local school district as well as a university), Read (listing of a publishing company): this is looking more like directory or a Wikepedia entry. (WT-en) SHC 22:23, 1 May 2006 (EDT)
- I went ahead and {{style}}ed it. I don't think it will take to much to bring it back in line... [[User:(WT-en) Maj|Majnoona]
- When I removed {{style}}, I thought I had addressed the issue. Apparently not. I'll take no offense to the edits required to bring it back in line. It's my impression as I look at other college town pages throughout the U.S., that this article similarly addressess the various headings critiqued by SHC above. I look forward to better understanding the concerns. For now, I'll sit back, watch and try to control my Wikivoyage addiction! User:(WT-en) Mayor pez.
- Don't reign in that addiction -- you are a wealth of info. Read up on the current styles and, by all means, keep adding to the project. (WT-en) SHC 18:45, 2 May 2006 (EDT)
- I'm removed the style comment again. I think this is back in line with small towns style. Contact is the only exception (remove if you desire). I also upgraded it to "usable" as there's not a lot more to say about Oxford (yet it is still well worth a trip). Thanks to Sapphire for the Alumni Hall photo! User:(WT-en) Mayor pez
- I happened to find that photo somewhere else. I just saved it, uploaded it, made sure it was compatible with the copyleft, and threw it up on this article. (WT-en) Sapphire 00:10, 14 May 2006 (EDT)

Oxford isn't Miami U
[edit]I'm a bit worried that this article is centering on Miami U too much. If there are 10,000 residents when school isn't in session what do those people do, see, and where do they eat at? (WT-en) Sapphire 00:10, 14 May 2006 (EDT)
- Everything that is open during the school year remains open throughout the year. The town doesn't just shut down. However, as with most college towns, the tourist activity in Oxford is significantly centered around the University. User:(WT-en) Mayor pez 09:05, 14 May 2006 (EDT)
