Talk:Palmyra Atoll

The map included in this article is completely wrong. It appears to be an amalgamation of what the atoll looked like around 1913 with some cartographer's imagination. There is not now, nor has there ever been a large round island in what would today be the East Lagoon. Additionally, the northern and southern sides of the atoll were formed into large single islands by the military and there is a thin causeway running north to south across the lagoon.
