This is written like a book, not in the short, bulletted lists that Wikivoyage strives for. Too talky, not informative enough.

The information is mostly interesting, but your comments are to the point. Feel free to plunge forward and improve the article, by adding information and by formatting the information to better fit the Manual of Style.
