Talk:Ranong (province)

Come on people - build some destination pages from this one! It starting to look like the yellow pages. I hardly know where anything is, or how to get there, because it is all listed in this one article, not on each town, (or beach) destination I could go to.

For example there are the 4 districts and one subdistrict:

• Mueang Ranong
• Kapoe
• Kra Buri
• La-un
• and Suk Samran.

Then there are the island of

• Ko Chang
• Ko Phayam

Then push all those listings out from here into those other articles. If the listings are put where they belong then this page becomes a bit more manageable. - (WT-en) Huttite 07:23, 28 January 2009 (EST)

Please redirect your grumbles towards User:(WT-en) Borndistinction and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, who dumped a metric fuck-ton of listings (CC-licensed!) all over our Thai pages...

Also, Thai districts generally make really bad Wikivoyage regions. I'm not familiar with Ranong, but Mueang Ranong == Ranong (city) and the rest (outside the islands) can prob be lumped into a "Ranong beaches" article or something. (WT-en) Jpatokal 07:59, 28 January 2009 (EST)
