South Bass Island is the name of the island, and Put-in-bay is the name of the village. The hotels restored are all on South Bass Island, Put-in-Bay Ohio. Please see map for referance. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 205.188.116.134 (talkcontribs)

That may be, but if you want to put your hotels in another article, you need to delete them in all other ones. Listings are only allowed in one destination guide, your current reversions amount to little more than spamming. I don't know the area, but if your hotel is located in the village, which is looks like on maps, that's where it belongs, not in the island article, and certainly not on an entirely different island. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) talk 11:15, 24 January 2010 (EST)

Merge

[edit]

South Bass Island and Put-in-Bay should not have separate articles, as the town has a population of only 120 people, and covers most of the island—all information will necessarily be duplicated across the two articles. My impression is that "Put-in-Bay" is the more common name, so lets merge to there. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 17:13, 14 February 2010 (EST)

Done. I skipped the restaurant section as the South Bass article provided little or no useful details beyond restaurant name. -- (WT-en) Ryan (talk) 18:21, 14 February 2010 (EST)
