Talk:South Dakota

I borrowed the region hierarchy from the http://www.travelsd.com/ Web site. They had the four regions already broken up, so I didn't see a good reason not to use them. Of course, if someone else has a better set of regions, please substitute them! --(WT-en) Evan 14:43, 13 Dec 2003 (PST)

In making the new regions map, I made a couple changes. First, there were some gaps and overlaps in between the three eastern regions. I gave most of the overlap between Southeast & Glacial lakes to the Southeast (basically the the 3-4 counties in its north). And I split the gap between Great Lakes and Southeast pretty much evenly. The only other change was to move Ziebach County from the West to the Great Lakes—I did that to keep the Cheyenne River IR in one region. --(WT-en) Peter ^Talk 02:38, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
