I am uncertain exactly where St Maximin is in France. I can find:

• Saint Maximin la Sainte Baume in Var.
• St Maximin, a village in the Uzes region in Gard Provence.
• Saint-Maximin in the department of the Oise and the area Picardy.

I am uncertain which place is being discussed here. To avoid confusion I think Saint Maximin or its variants should be disambiguated. However, I don't know enough to do this at present.
