So, at one point the names of the regions on this page were as follows:
- Sudermannia
- Uplandia
- Westermannia
- Nericia
- Wermelandia
- Dalecarlia
The comment for the change that added them suggested that they were the proper English names for the provinces. But I couldn't find any of these listed anywhere -- even the Getty Thesaurus of Geographical Names couldn't come up with one. (Wait, no, not true -- it comes up with "Dalecarlia" for Dalarna, but as a non-preferred name.) So, I switched them back -- each of the names now listed is "Preferred" on TGN (minus the umlauts) and is used on Wikipedia's Svealand page. --(WT-en) Evan 23:26, 10 Dec 2005 (EST)
